InsideTrack FAIL

http://www.thepantheronline.com/article.php?id=1934

Chapman Univeristy is one of the most expensive Universities in Orange, CA. Costs inlcude dorms, books, food, gas, etc. One of the costs that had finally been saved is InsideTrack coaching. Many students at Chapman may remember there first year going every week to meet someone who didn't really help with anything.

I have personally gone to InsideTrack for 1 year and I hated it. It is 20 minutes you spend talking to someone who manages 30+ students, and the situation doesn't feel rewarding. Academic Advising however has helped me a ton. Whenever I couldn't find a coffeehouse to sit down with classmates and do homework, I would instead go to Academic Advising. They can help you with any homework, help study for quizzes, and even pay you to tutor in something you excel at.

The total cost saved for mostly discontinuing InsideTrack has been about $650,000 imagine spending that on more useless help. My main point is that while InsideTrack is a good idea the costs out way the benefits. I say this at a coffeehouse working with 2 of my roommates on homework.

  1. I would say the voice is angry/pessimistic.

Even though the voice is angry, it would be nice to get more concrete arguments against InsideTrack.

Good paragraph, but work on integrating your link inside words, rather than listing the entire URL.
